REPAIRS:   Weld Power provides expert repair service on all generator and automatic transfer switch makes and models. LOAD BANK TESTING:  Load Bank Testing allows a standby power system to be tested and exercised under load to verify its overall reliability to perform in a power outage. When a load bank is used, the applied load brings the system up to an elevated operating temperature to help combat wet-stacking . Wet-stacking occurs when unburned fuel accumulates in an engine’s exhaust system. This can foul the fuel injectors, engine valves and exhaust system, including turbochargers, and reduce operating performance. Wet-stacking also poses a fire hazard.

THERMAL IMAGING:   Thermal imaging cameras are used for inspecting equipment and components as well as the complete electrical power supply system.  An infrared image including accurate temperature data provides our technicians with important information about the condition of the inspected object.

DIESEL FUEL & FILTERING CONDITIONING TREATMENT:   Fuel problems are the leading causes of all generator engine failures. Fuel degradation and algae build up are the most wide spread symptoms of a jeopardized fuel system. Diesel fuel begins to deteriorate within 30 days of being produced. This natural process is called fuel degradation. Diesel fuel tanks are also vulnerable to algae build up as a result of water deposits caused by condensation.
